Laws and regulations
The rules themselves: who must be certified, what the certification types cover, recordkeeping, and the prohibitions. This is the most fact-dense Core territory and the easiest to score with study.
The figures that belong to this topic
- A technician is anyone whose work could reasonably be expected to violate the integrity of the refrigerant circuit.
- Records are generally retained a minimum of three years; servicing records apply at 50 pounds or more.
- The regulation sets no expiration for technician certification.
How to study it
